Heal Accounting Announces Promotions, Welcomes New Team Members

Dorothe Bailey has been promoted to Accounting Manager. Dorothe joined Heal Accounting in January 2018 as a Payroll Manager. She has played a pivotal role in our Accounting and Tax departments. She now oversees all staff in the Accounting and Payroll departments.

Tamara Cody has been promoted to Accounting Supervisor. Tamara joined Heal Accounting in June 2017 as a Staff Accountant. She has been in charge of client accounts and staff training while continuing to increase her knowledge of accounting technology. She will continue her roll in technology integrations and training staff in the Accounting department.

Lisa Ladd has been promoted to Payroll Supervisor. Lisa joined Heal Accounting in December 2016 as an Administrative Assistant. She has continued to enhance her capabilities and knowledge of accounting and payroll. She will now oversee payroll clients and training of staff.

Kim Simmons joined Heal Accounting in June as a Staff Accountant. Kim brings with her a wealth of knowledge in small business accounting, having owned and sold several successful businesses with her husband. She enjoys working in a team environment and is excited to learn about the latest in accounting technology. She was born and raised in Midcoast Maine. She and her husband have three children and two grandsons. She has two Ragdoll cats and enjoys taking care of her home and gardens, as well as entertaining.

Tasha Bodman joined Heal Accounting in June as a Staff Accountant. Tasha brings with her experience in managing staff, office administration and payroll. She studied Liberal Arts at the University of Maine. She was raised in Maine and resides in Thomaston. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family.

Laura Miller has joined the firm as our Administrative Assistant. Laura previously worked managing cash flow and reconciling daily sales for two local businesses. Her ability to multi-task and complete projects will be beneficial to her work in the firm. She lives with her husband, Jake, and their four sons in St. George.

Kim Grinnell has joined the firm as a Tax Preparer. Kim previously worked at Waldo County General Hospital as a referral coordinator and is currently the chair of the Board of Pope Memorial Humane Society. She hopes to utilize her bookkeeping experience and organizational skills to benefit our clients. She lives with her husband, Art, in Lincolnville.

Brooke Fournier, formerly our Administrative Assistant, has been promoted to Tax Preparer.  Brooke provides our clients with an air of professionalism that they enjoy.  Her prior experience in banking and as our administrative assistant required significant attention to detail that will be an asset for our tax department.
